Rehabilitation of Eroded Roads Linking Six Federal Wards at Mile-Four Dam

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: Ongoing 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: Road Infrastructure, Rural Connectivity and Economic Development 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 The Local Government is undertaking the rehabilitation of eroded roads linking six federal wards at Mile-Four Dam. The project is designed to restore access between affected communities and address road deterioration that has made movement difficult. Upon completion, the project is expected to improve transportation for residents, farmers, and traders, facilitate the movement of agricultural produce to markets, and improve access to essential services, particularly during the rainy season. 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 Improved community connectivity, easier movement of agricultural produce, and better access to essential services.

Relocation of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to Its Permanent Site along Gamakai Road, Mabudi

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: Ongoing 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: Security Infrastructure and Civil Protection 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 The Local Government is facilitating the relocation of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to its permanent site along Gamakai Road, Mabudi. The initiative is intended to provide the Corps with a dedicated and long-term operational base from which to carry out its statutory responsibilities. The permanent facility is expected to support the Corps' activities in protecting lives and property, safeguarding public infrastructure, and providing civil protection services across Langtang South. 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 Strengthened institutional presence and improved operational support for civil protection services.
